‘Love is a four-legged word’. This is exactly what Soumya Gupta and her animal loving friends think. Soumya Gupta, an engineering student and a volunteer for PFA (People for Animals) from Nalasopara constantly works towards the welfare of animals, especially stray dogs, in and around her vicinity.

This time Soumya came up with a fan thought of vaccinating the dogs in her vicinity. She conveyed the same to her friend and animal lover, Bijal Gala. Bijal immediately asked Dr. Rohit Shinwar, a vet, for help and the gentleman readily agreed for the same. Bijal and Soumya contributed for the vaccine materials. Another very crucial person in this drive was Mr. Gaurav Bheda who feeds as much as forty dogs in the vicinity, regularly. The dogs trusted Gaurav and hence, it became easy to vaccinate them.

After hours of hard work, the operation was finally accomplished and forty lovely four-legged beings were vaccinated. The team aims to carry out more such operations in the future and requests people to kindly join them in their kind gesture towards the animals.
