The Anti Smoking/Anti Tobacco drive organised by Bahujan Vikas Aghadi, conceptualised by Yuva Vikas Aghadi, has been successfully accomplished during the Dahi Handi Celebration 2016 held on 25.08.2016, at Amol Nagar, Naigaon West.

Mr. Shamit Vedh from Krupa Foundation, Papdi, enlightened the youth about the harmful life-threatening effects caused by smoking and consumption of tobacco and also inspired them to avoid these temptations.

Corporater, Mr. Manish Vartak and Ex Corporater, Mr. Pravin Vartak, also spoke to the youth and their words were motivational and encouraging.

The Shiv Sai Women’s Govinda Pathak, from Diwanman, put up an awesome display of a movable human tower which was well appreciated by the onlookers as well as by the dignitaries present. Later, the Jai Gagangiri Govinda Pathak managed to break the Dahi Handi by creating a huge human tower. The event was a real success due to the co-operation of Amol Nagar Mitra Mandal Youth.
